Where the dream meets reality

The islands of French Polynesia are a magical place. Peaceful, tropical, and dreamy are surrounded by a circle of spectacular peaks, including Tahiti, the largest of the islands.

This enchanted paradise is blessed with captivating valleys, clear waterways, and towering waterfalls. Tahiti's capital, Papeete, is the island's centre of attraction. It has five-star world-class resorts, spas, fine dining, nightlife, colourful markets, museums and world-class shopping.

From Tahiti across to her neighbouring sister island, Moorea, there are an endless number of opportunities on these islands. This is a lovely spot for anyone looking to trek to one of the island’s breathtaking waterfalls. Travel up the twisty road to the Belvedere lookout summit for a spectacularly stunning view of the island's two famous bays below. Glide through the crystal clear lagoon in a deluxe catamaran to witness a breathtaking sunset in Moorea and visit an authentic Tahitian Polynesian Tiki village that will remind you of ancient Polynesia in our Essentials itinerary. In addition, you will get the opportunity of a lifetime to see a spectacular Tahitian folk show with traditional dancers and see one of Moorea's finest waterfront destinations Cook's Bay, which offers some of Moorea's most accessible attractions. Marine life enthusiasts will be able to watch and photograph majestic whales and participate in a ray feeding expedition in Moorea's warm seas. All these fantastic activities are included in our Essentials itinerary.

Description

When to visit Tahiti?

Tahiti has beautiful weather all year, so there is no such thing as a wrong time to visit. However, May to October is often considered the best time to visit Tahiti. This is also peak season, with June, July, and August being the busiest months. These three months are considered winter in French Polynesia because temperatures are cooler and milder.

Tahiti’s most famous events are also held during peak season, including Heiva, the Billabong Pro and more. Because of Tahiti's fantastic year-round weather, you can visit during the off-season to take advantage of slightly lower prices at hotels and resorts while avoiding crowds.

For those who want to have the beach to themselves, the ideal time to visit Tahiti is from November to April, when your experience of these gorgeous islands will be calmer and more private.
